Security agents arrested #Serunaz_Ahmadi and #Kamiar_Fakour
The security agents arrested Sarvanaz Ahmadi and Kamiyar Fekur, a couple of activists and journalists defending workers’ rights. Kamiar Fakour was previously sentenced to prison by the Revolutionary Court of Tehran.
Relatives of these two writers and workers’ rights defenders said that security agents arrested Ahmadi and Fakour on Sunday morning, 15 Aban. The name of the detaining agency, the charge and their place of detention are not known yet. Sarvanaz Ahmadi is a researcher, writer and activist for the rights of working children, and Kamiar Fekur is a journalist and rapper who was arrested and imprisoned several times before by the security forces.
Hundreds of civil activists, students, women and workers have been arrested in different regions of Iran since the beginning of the widespread protests that became known as the Jinnah Revolution.
