The Syrian War Bill (Part Two)
January 15 2022

The “Al-Hurra Investigates” program team reveals that Damascus has granted rights to explore for natural resources to submerged companies that act as fronts for Russian businessmen close to the Kremlin, and some of these companies belong to the group of Russian mercenaries known as Wagner, whose fighters fought alongside the Syrian regime forces.

In the second episode of this investigation, we shed light on the Russian mercenary network, how it arose under the auspices of the Kremlin, and with funding from one of Putin’s comrades, and how Damascus paid Wagner’s agents.
