Salvo launches of Chinese DF-21D medium-range anti-ship ballistic missiles.  The DF-21D is a two-stage solid-propellant ballistic anti-ship missile that entered service with the People’s Liberation Army of China in 2015.

Its estimated flight range is about 1.5 thousand km, which, when deployed in Guangdong province, gives it the ability to hit targets both in the Taiwan Strait and in the northern part of the South China Sea.
